Every Thursday from now until further notice will be dedicated to Kara key fragment runs.
Everyone will be expected to do the first part on their own. At level 70 it should be quite easy to solo. Kara is at the far south of Deadwind Pass, and the quest may be found just outside the instance. |

Both of the first quests are local to Karazhan. There are two cellar staircases in houses that are across the street from each other. In each, you need to go to the south room to find the lake and the well. (If you have stealth, you can stealth run these.) You will have plenty of opportunities to collect the 10 Ghostly Essences you need for "Restless Activity" on your way, so do "Arcane Disturbances" first.
Once you finish these and turn them in, you will be headed to Dalaran. Fly to Southshore and head to the northwest (to the lake you would cross to go to Scarlet Monastery). The contact is on the northern side of Dalaran, near said lake.
From there, you need to go to Shattrath City. Khadgar is in the center of the city, next to the Sha'tar.
The key runs are the following:
- Shadow Labyrinth (Auchindoun, Terokkar Forest)
(turn-in)
- Steam Vaults (Coilfang Reservoir, Zangarmarsh)
- Arcatraz (Tempest Keep, Netherstorm)
(turn-in)
- The Black Morass/Opening of the Dark Portal (Caverns of Time, Tanaris)
Return to Khadgar in Shattrath City.
Return to Alturus at Karazhan. |

The Fuzzy Bunny Feet Guild will be making Key Runs this Sunday, June 3rd in the late morning and afternoon and maybe for the whole day. All Whisperwind Alliance Members are welcome to join us.

just wanted to let yah know that Druid needs to do like 4 more BM runs to get exalted, (epic healing bracers WOOT) so if doing a BM run look me up as very eager to run that and  my heals are nice |

The thursday runs are going to be a little hard for the kiwi & Aussie peeps. eg Prayator & Vori. there are a number of other people unable to make those times as well.

An Actual Karazhan Run.... Sunday December 30th at 12 noon Server Time
If you are interested - either send me an "in-game" e-mail or.... post your interest under the "Karazhan Run..... December 30th..." Subject Header. We already have folks who have expressed an interest so there is a good chance we will fill up so get on the list early...

As of Patch 2.4.0, The Master's Key is not needed to enter Karazhan, but is still needed to open the Front and Side Gates.
The information contained in this thread is still relevant, but key runs are no longer necessary for entrance into Karazhan. Locking and archiving this thread. |
