Well Rangers...the time has come for me to part ways.
I think this guild was just an experiment...
The two leaders arent making this guild thrive...I am basically doing it with the help of a few officers....

I must agree with Azure on this the lack of leadership in the Dawn is non-existant. Most of the officers myself include were trying hard to keep this guild going. Its sad when your Leader and Co-Leader are on for 15-20mins every 4-5 days. When I signed up for this protion of the Rangers I was assuming that it would be like the Myst side. We would have houses as we do in Myst our leadership was on more. Dawn lost a few good people some of the backbone in the guild. I hit the newbie lands at least 2-3x a week to recruit sometime it worked sometimes it didnt but i gave it my best to make this a outstanding guild like MYST is.

Indeed the time has come.

The Dawn is only as strong as its members, as is the Myst. In this respect you are right Azure. But you are wrong to assume that the Dawn is only an experiment. It will be around for as long as the Myst and if it only has a few dedicated members for a while then so be it. Val has finally made 70 and I can now spend more time on Laura.

Thank you very much for the service you have done Azure, your powers were equal to those of Commander Aleuralisean. My only hope was for you to have taken them and done more.

The Rangers of the Myst is over a year old now and it has been a long haul. I don't expect it to be any easier for the Rangers of the Dawn to become as strong.

Attempting to quickly raise the Dawn to the level of the Myst without the arduous journey we had was my hope, though perhaps a foolish one. It became quickly apparent that neither myself nor the Commandant had enough time between us to keep the command presence that all Rangers deserve.

The Myst was beginning to falter, and thus I had to put all my trust in Azure to take the full burden of my role there with Vamp taking on Vallah's. To date, you have both done amazingly well. At least as well as the two of us did during the fledgeling struggle of the Myst.

It saddens me that you have decided to move on, I am guessing in the lust for purple doodads. The focus of the Rangers has always been friends and family, and there have always been those who find greater value in material things. To those I can simply bid farewell and wish them the best.

Nammarie to you, and may your paths be lined with emerald and silver always!

Hmm you are correct a guild is as strong as its members. Well since you spent most of your time on the Alliance side you should have made someone GL till you can find time to fill your role as GL. IF a guild is as strong as its members and if we were following our guildlines set forth by our leaders then we would lose 30-40% of the guild for not logging on after 30 days of being inactive, Like I said earlier we had 4 dedicated Rangers to helping those in need. Im sure they felt like I did in that we were streched way to thin.

Here again the guild Dawn was being placed on our shoulders. And when were we going to be noified of this. I had heard nothing to be patient with us while we get the Myst side straigth then work on the Dawn side. It seemed to me that the Leadership just left logging in a few mins at a time then disappearing for a few more days. Now if you were lvling Val then the leadership should have passed on to a more qulified person until that person is ready to take FULL control of the guild. So you have a luxury of GL for Dawn and you decided to get personal gain by lvling Val when your full responsibility should have been for the guild again (we are as strong as our members )

Well I for one have moved on to greener happier pastures IM not saying the Rangers of the Myst havent been kind to me they have ( ONCE A RANGER ALLWAYS A RANGER) but I felt abandoned and left in the dark by our leaders for the Dawn. Yes I hav joined another guild and yes I am very happy in that guild. I do hope the Dawn will flourish like the Myst and be as sucessful

This is a joke...I have two purples...both were gotten LONG before I came to the dawn....so this little dig at me has absolutely NO merit....I left because we were left to the wolves.
I basically got to 65 ALONE...so I went to a guild that has members that were actually my lvl...gear has nothing to do with it....when one points ones finger at another there are three pointing back....
Those are my feelings...that the dawn was an experiement....thats my opinion...if it wasnt an experiment...ok np....dont go saying harsh things....because I didnt bad mouth anyone before I left.

My apologies for anything said that may have upset you. Your arguments have merit and I have taken them into consideration.

Please understand that I myself was upset and disappointed by your leaving and as the days have gone by, I am much improved. I am happy you have found greener pastures and hope that all you wish for will come to you both.

hmm why do you need anyone to lvl you anyway? i got my lvls by myself. that sounds like an excuse...we all know full well one can get to 70 soloing. dont be dependant on others. and dont say its anyones fault for not being there to hold your hand. you dont need to be a gl to take responsibility for your guild.
